Job scope
As an Oceania or ANZ Regional Account Manager for a B2B Food ingredients company, you will manage and grow the customer base in the Health and Food sectors by selling high-quality ingredient solutions and products. Your role involves direct and indirect sales through various channels, assessing customer needs, and suggesting appropriate products and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, and presentations, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to generate sales and repeat business.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of sales processes.
- Conduct market research and collect relevant business data.
- Collaborate closely with customer service, business support, and application specialists to ensure excellent customer service.
- Understand and navigate the supply chain, including import regulations and documentation specific to the local market.
- Work with the Technical Support team for onsite troubleshooting.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or above degree with 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the food, nutrition, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven commercial mindset and business acumen.
- A team player. Humble, collaborative attitude is highly appreciated.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for sports and health nutrition.
How you will make an impact
- You will play an essential role in developing the ingredient business in Oceania and APAC within Infant Formula, Sport & Health, and Medical Nutrition.
- You will collaborate with the leadership team to bring innovative ingredients and concepts to the market.
- You will work closely with customers and the local team to grasp market needs and transform them into solutions with our Innovation Application and Nutrition Science functions.
- Together with global sales and marketing teams, you will be responsible for launching these solutions.
