“Bildung ist unser wichtigster Rohstoff” (“Education is our most important resource”). This quote gave us plenty of food for thought. And it’s from one of Germany’s most successful entrepreneurs, Dieter Schwarz, former CEO and Chairman of Lidl and Kaufland. His foundation invested heavily into the Bildungscampus in Heilbronn and Stuttgart and was kind enough to host our leadership event at the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institut.
Jointly with Prof. Heiner Lasi, who has been its academic leader since 2015 and focuses in his research on hashtag Industrial Intelligence, IoT and AI, Fiducia Executive Search Partners had the honour of guiding our guests through an evening of diverse content and a lively panel discussion moderated by journalist and TV show host Carina Jantsch.
Our US partner Tilman H. Bender Bender of TH Bender gave a snapshot on recruiting challenges in North America, from the war for talent to rising salary expectations.
Thaddäus Müller completed the picture with insights from the China and South East Asia talent markets: the shortage of qualified candidates, the region’s rising labour costs, and the heterogenous hiring markets that make up this rich and diverse region.
We’re grateful for the excellent co-hosting qualities of our German colleagues at Dr. Maier + Partner Group. All three companies are members of the internationally growing Lense & Lumen Advisory Group network.
