Its Vietnam organization delivers end‑to‑end solutions — from consulting and equipment supply to installation and after‑sales service — through experienced local teams in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Job Scope
As Head of Sales, Vietnam, you will lead the national sales organization and drive profitable growth across key industrial sectors. This role combines project‑based solution selling, team leadership, and strategic market development, with a strong focus on customer relationships, commercial execution, and long‑term business expansion.
Your Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a sales team of ~10+ professionals across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
- Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and identify training and development needs
- Recruit and onboard new team members while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture
Sales & Project Management
- Lead sales activities for capital equipment and machinery solutions across multiple industrial sectors
- Drive complex project sales cycles, including value propositions, proposals, risk assessments, and contract negotiations
- Approve offers within delegated authority and ensure accurate CRM updates and pipeline visibility
- Conduct regular project reviews and support the team in closing high‑value opportunities
Market Development & Strategy
- Develop annual sales plans and budgets; translate targets into actionable objectives for the team
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Provide market insights, segmentation recommendations, and forecasts to regional leadership
- Strengthen market presence through fairs, seminars, and coordinated marketing activities
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers at all decision‑making levels
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely solutions and effective issue resolution
- Represent the company professionally with customers, partners, and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar working field, preferably in capital equipment / machinery industry
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing teams of 5+ people
- Proven track record in project sales and managing complex, high‑value technical sales cycles
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English; Mandarin is a plus
- Independent, self‑driven, and able to perform under pressure
- Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam and internationally
