On behalf of our client, a leading German equipment manufacturer, we are currently looking for a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to join their China leadership team and drive commercial strategy and execution in the region.

The company is a global technology leader in intelligent, high-precision, and automated manufacturing solutions. Its operations span over dozens of countries, with a strong track record of delivering high-productivity machining centers and turnkey production systems to leading clients in the automotive, e-mobility, aerospace, and precision engineering industries.

Ideal candidate profile

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales within machine tools, automation, or industrial
    systems
  • 5+ years in a sales leadership role, ideally with national responsibility in China
  • Blend of technical understanding, sales leadership, and strategic thinking
  • Strong people leadership skills and a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of the China manufacturing landscape and customer
    ecosystem
  • Commercially strategic, yet hands-on and execution-focused
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; capable of engaging both local teams and global
    stakeholders
