Current Search: Business Development Manager – Vietnam for an international professional services and advisory firm

Our client is an international professional services advisory firm supporting foreign-owned businesses across Asia. With a strong platform in Vietnam, the firm provides integrated corporate and consulting solutions to international companies operating or expanding in the market.

As part of its continued growth in Vietnam, the organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to work closely with the Managing Director and local advisory teams, with a clear focus on client development and commercial expansion.

Role Overview

Based in Vietnam, this role combines client relationship management, new business generation, and day‑to‑day coordination with internal service teams. You will act as a key commercial interface for international clients, while supporting strategic initiatives and market outreach activities. Occasional travel may be required.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage long‑term relationships with a portfolio of corporate and private clients, acting as a primary commercial contact.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and build new client relationships, particularly among European companies operating in or entering Vietnam.
  • Contribute to local business development initiatives, including events, partnerships, seminars, and marketing activities.
  • Work closely with internal experts and back‑office teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Support administrative coordination, basic reporting, and commercial follow‑up aligned with monthly and quarterly objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • University degree in business, economics, law, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of sales experience, preferably in business advisory, corporate services, or professional services.
  • Strong understanding of the Vietnamese business environment, ideally from an international or foreign‑investor perspective.
  • Native or near‑native fluency in a European language; strong business‑level English required.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, structured, and relationship‑driven mindset.
  • Open to expatriate candidates and locally based professionals.
